Canaan Technology Launches New Avalon A13 Series Bitcoin Miners According to the latest news, Canaan Technology announced the launch of the new Bitcoin miner Avalon Made A13 series, including Avalon A1346 and Avalon A1366. Antminer E3 appearance
First, let's take a look at the true face of Antminer E3! This miner is very different from other series of ant mining machines. The most significant difference is that it is very high! It is about twice as high as other miners. This is because the system process of the Antminer E3 is complex, so it needs to be designed into an oversized hash board, and the appearance of the miner will also look taller.

Another difference is that the front of the E3 is equipped with two cooling fans, and there is no cooling fan behind the miner, which is replaced by a honeycomb cooling network.
In terms of hash boards, E3 miners also use three hash boards. So from the top of the miners, E3 has three hash boards and one control board.

Install test

The power supply used in this test is Antminer APW7. The power supply can be purchased on the ZEUS MINING official website. For the mining tutorial of Antminer E3, it is recommended to refer to Antminer E3 Manual.

Noise and heat

The test site is a conference room with about 30 square meters, and the room temperature is 25 degrees. Heat and noise tests are performed after the miner runs for a while.

When there is no miner in the room, the noise is 50 decibels. When the miner is turned on, the measured noise of the miner is 74.4 decibels at a distance of 10cm from the miner and 67.7 decibels at a distance of 1 meter from the E3 miner.

After stable operation for a while, the miner's air inlet temperature was measured to be 32.8 degrees, and the air outlet temperature was 37.6 degrees.

In the miner's backstage, it can be seen that the temperature of the E3 hash board is about 47 degrees, and the chip temperature is about 58 degrees. The front fan speed is 3000, and the miner is running normally!

The official standard hash rate of Antminer E3 is 190MH/s. In the actual test, according to the data from the backstage of the mining pool, the average one-day actual hash rate is about 200.48MH/s, which is slightly higher than the standard value. The official standard power consumption of Antminer E3 is 760W, and the power consumption in the actual test is 733W, which is slightly lower than the standard value. According to the actual tested hash rate and power consumption, the energy consumption ratio is about 3.7W/M.
