Whatsminer M30s Profitability

Whatsminer M30s Profitability

In April 2020, MicroBT, a leading crypto mining hardware company, released the first MicroBT Whatsminer M30s in its M30 series. This can be seen in the improvements to the older M20s and the widespread acclaim after its release. MicroBT quickly built a reputation as one of the leading equipment suppliers in the field, with a commitment to transparency and reliability.
MicroBT M30s is an ASIC miner that uses the SHA-256 algorithm. Whatsminer M30s can mine top coins like Bitcoin (BTC) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH), but it can also mine coins like TerraCoin (TRC) and Unbreakable (UNB).
The M30S was one of the first miners to boast 3x joules per Terahash generation. Moreover, with a maximum speed of 88 TH/s and power consumption of 3268W, it is currently one of the most stable units, with a hash rate fluctuation of less than 1% and power consumption fluctuation of less than 1.5%.

WhatsMiner M30S form factor

In terms of appearance, the size is 150*255*390mm, and the weight is 10.5kg. The difference between M30S and M20S is that the power supply is replaced with a flat type, the height of the whole machine is reduced by 15mm, and the weight of the whole machine is 0.9kg, which is lighter than the M20S-68T. The unit uses a one-in-one-out system with two dedicated fans for cooling. The air inlet fan has a metal protective cover.

WhatsMiner M30S uses a standard power supply model: P21-GB-12-3300, powered by a 16A power cord. It uses two 14038 12V 7.2A fans, reducing power consumption and noise levels. Also, it's an improvement over the M20S model that uses a 9A fan. The rear fan adopts a 4-core 4P interface, and the front adopts a 6-core flat interface. The miner has three built-in hash boards, each with 148 Samsung 8nm ASIC chips, for a total of 444.
The power ratio is about 37.53W/T. The above data shows that the MicroBT Whatsminer M30S is built for reliability and profitability. The MicroBT company is known for its "plug and play" designs, and the Whatsminer M30S isn't left out. It's built for first-time users.

WhatsMiner M30S temperature and noise level

Under optimal mining conditions, the temperature of this miner is about -5 - 35 °C. Also, thanks to the fan, the noise level is reduced. The noise level of the average miner is around 75 decibels and above, but the noise level of this device is only 72 decibels.
